Job Description
Vape Daddy Distributors is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join their team in Markham, ON. This is a full-time, permanent on-site position with a competitive hourly wage of $36.00 for a standard 32–40 hour work week. The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial operations and ensure accurate record-keeping within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Calculate and prepare payroll cheques

Maintain and balance financial records using manual and computerized systems

Post journal entries and reconcile accounts

Prepare financial statements, statistical and accounting reports

Prepare tax returns

Quote duty and tax rates on imported commodities

Assess duty assessments and support financial reporting
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

1 to 2 years of relevant experience

Strong attention to detail and high level of organization

Comfortable with accounting software and manual bookkeeping processes
