Job Description
Podollan Grande Prairie Inn & Spa Inc. is seeking a motivated Hotel Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and support the General Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This full-time, permanent role is based in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services

  • Hire, train, and schedule staff members

  • Resolve guest complaints and ensure quality service standards are met

  • Monitor budgets, manage inventory, and control operational costs

  • Assist with marketing strategies and promotional activities

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in hospitality management is an asset

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in hospitality or management

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Client-focused, reliable, and able to work under pressure

  • Criminal record check required

Employment Details

Salary

  • $29.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
