Medglobal Works is seeking an experienced Health Records Management Supervisor to oversee the coordination and maintenance of medical records within their Calgary facility. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for professionals with strong organizational skills and healthcare administration experience.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of health information clerks and related staff

Establish work schedules, procedures, and ensure compliance with standards

Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and organizational policies

Monitor accuracy, security, and confidentiality of medical records

Resolve work-related problems and prepare progress reports

Implement and maintain electronic health records systems

Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Diploma or degree in Health Information Management, Medical Office Administration, or related field

1 year to less than 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare records management

Strong knowledge of health records systems and confidentiality standards

Proficient in MS Office and electronic health records software

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Client-focused, detail-oriented, reliable, and adaptable

Criminal record check required
