Job Description


Tritech Group Ltd. is hiring a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to establish and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations at their Langley, BC, location. This is a full-time, permanent on-site position. The role involves both field and office work in construction and industrial construction settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review HR directives to ensure compliance with occupational health & safety laws

  • Establish and implement safety policies and procedures

  • Inspect spills of hazardous chemicals or products

  • Inspect workplace for safety or health hazards

  • Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses

  • Advise senior management on safety issues

  • Liaise with management, unions, and HR consultants

Qualifications & Requirements

  • College/CEGEP degree in Occupational Safety & Health Technician or equivalent experience

  • 2 to less than 3 years of experience in health and safety roles

  • Key certifications: WHMIS, First Aid, NCSO, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate

  • Strong tech skills: MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Must have steel-toed safety boots and ability to work under tight deadlines

Employment Details

  • Full-time, permanent

  • Hourly salary: approximately CAD $75,000 to $85,000 / year
