Job Description
Tritech Group Ltd. is hiring a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to establish and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations at their Langley, BC, location. This is a full-time, permanent on-site position. The role involves both field and office work in construction and industrial construction settings.
Key Responsibilities

Review HR directives to ensure compliance with occupational health & safety laws

Establish and implement safety policies and procedures

Inspect spills of hazardous chemicals or products

Inspect workplace for safety or health hazards

Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses

Advise senior management on safety issues

Liaise with management, unions, and HR consultants
Qualifications & Requirements

College/CEGEP degree in Occupational Safety & Health Technician or equivalent experience

2 to less than 3 years of experience in health and safety roles

Key certifications: WHMIS, First Aid, NCSO, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate

Strong tech skills: MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Must have steel-toed safety boots and ability to work under tight deadlines
