Job Description
Northern Health Region is looking for a caring and dependable Health Care Aide to support patient care in Flin Flon, Manitoba. This part-time, permanent position requires assisting patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and mobility under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (including handling bed pans)

Serve meals and feed patients as needed

Reposition, weigh, and transfer patients between areas (wheelchair, stretcher)

Transport specimens, deliver reports and messages between departments
-
Prepare and maintain patient rooms: make beds, update supplies

Respond promptly to patient call signals and support their needs

Collect specimens and assist with routine care tasks
Qualifications & Requirements

Health Care Aide Certificate (3 months to less than 1 year)

CPR Certificate (required)

Criminal record check, child abuse registry check, adult abuse registry check, and up-to-date immunization records required

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks with manual dexterity

Strong interpersonal skills, organized, client-focused, reliable, and compassionate

Willing to relocate for the position
