Job Description
Apollo Animal Hospital, operated by Saron Enterprises Inc., is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join their team in Surrey, British Columbia. This is a full-time, permanent position offering hands-on clinical experience in a supportive environment. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates starting their careers in veterinary medicine.
Key Responsibilities

Collect samples and perform laboratory tests

Handle, restrain, and provide care to animals during treatments and surgeries

Assist veterinarians before, during, and after surgical procedures

Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as prescribed

Apply treatments under direct supervision of a veterinarian

Educate pet owners on health, nutrition, and preventive care

Provide nursing care, rehabilitation, wound care, and post-operative support

Maintain accurate medical records and support day-to-day clinic operations
Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma in Veterinary Technology (1–2 years, College/CEGEP or equivalent)

1 to less than 7 months of related experience

Strong organizational and teamwork skills

Client-focused with attention to detail and sound judgment

Comfortable performing repetitive and physically demanding tasks

Fluency in English required

Compensation
